Flume Gorge
Named after a popular site in the White Mountains, this cozy, east-facing green and rose color themed bedroom features a bronze iron queen bed, a comfortable easy ‘chair and a half’ with ottoman, and an electric wood stove. In the room’s private bath, there is a jetted tub for two in which to relax after a day spent in the White Mountains. Sliding glass doors open onto a private balcony equipped with chairs and a small table during our milder seasons so you can enjoy views of the lawn and gardens as well as across the valley. (Full Breakfast is included every morning.)
Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park, a little over an hour’s drive from the inn, is well-known for its scenery including Avalanche Falls, Liberty Gorge Cascades, The Pool, glacial boulders, and a covered bridge. All can be viewed from the easy two mile loop hike through the State Park.
