The Inn at Ellis River’s guests who participated in the Ghosts and Goblins Trail all had a great time, and two of our guests won first place among all the Trail participants for their Zombie costumes. The inn was decorated festively for Halloween ~ in fact, so well that the inn won first place among the inns on the Trail for our decor! Carved pumpkins welcomed the guests, ghostly images haunted the pub, and Fiona the pumpkin person came inside to warm herself by the fireplace ~ too bad her head was in the ice bucket beside her! If you didn’t come on the Trail in costume, you had to kiss Fiona to earn your treat! All the guests enjoyed Spirited Chocolate Raisin Treats and apple cider, and took away a bag of Halloween goodies. We hope you will try the cookies for yourselves ~change the color of the decorative frosting and they’re good any time of year, and not just at Halloween!
