Are you chilly with all our snowstorms in New England? Then warm up with the Chili Cookoff Stroll in North Conway, NH on Saturday, March 1, 2014! Over 40 chefs will prepare their unique chili offerings, whether mild or spicy. A portion of the proceeds will benefit New Hampshire Public Television. The Cookoff features three competitions:
- The Professional Chefs Division, featuring chefs from local restaurants, for which a panel of judges will select winners based on taste, aroma, and consistency
- The People’s Choice Division for talented amateur chili cooks who will represent their favorite not-for-profit organizations
- The Best traditional and Non-traditional Cornbreads to balance all the spicy heat, open to both divisions of chili chefs.
The festivities begin at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 1, 2014 and sampling continues until 3:00 pm. The Cookoff for the professional chefs will be held at the Gibson Center for Senior Services, while the People’s Choice chili entries can be tasted at the North Conway Community Center and some retail stores throughout the village.
General Admission Tickets are $15 for adults and include entry to the Chilly Chili Cookoff and the chance to vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice Division.
